Leading Customer Engagement Agency - Talent Assistant

Description

Our award-winning client, part of one of the biggest Communications Networks in the world, is looking for a proactive and motivated Talent Assistant to join their London team. As part of a busy HR team, the Talent Assistant will provide essential support to the Talent Acquisition Manager across the full range of recruitment and talent acquisition activities, alongside supporting the Learning & Development Team with the coordination and set-up of a range of training and induction activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for building relationships. You must excel at keeping things organised, tasks on track and have a keen eye for detail. Ideally, having gained some previous experience of supporting a team in an admin/coordination capacity in a fast-paced environment – within an agency, creative or media environment, although this is not essential.

Please note, this role is an initial 6 month contract opportunity.

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Liaising with external candidates and interviewers to schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person interviews
  • Interview set-up, including sharing interview materials with internal interviewers and tasks/case studies with candidates
  • Managing candidate communications before and after interviews to ensure a first-class candidate experience
  • Conducting screening calls with applicants
  • Reviewing CVs and applications
  • Updating and maintaining applicant tracking system to make sure information is current and correct at all times
  • Working with Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to update and create job descriptions
  • Working with Associate Director for Learning & Development to coordinate and schedule a range of training activities
  • Ad hoc support across wider talent/HR team initiatives, as required.

 

About you:

 

  • General admin support experience gained within a fast-paced environment, ideally in the creative/media industries
  • Proficient in MS Outlook and Teams
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, remains calm and works well under pressure
  • Able to use own initiative, proactive to the requirements of the position and beyond
  • Determined, a completer/finisher who finalises all actions despite distractions
  • Resilient and positive
  • Ability to deal with issues in a discrete and confidential manner
