Introducing Dakota...

I came back from the most amazing couple of months travelling South America in March earlier this year and I found the job application process extremely daunting. A friend of mine was working for Pulse at the time, and suggested that I sign up for temp work while I was figuring out what I wanted to do. After working in several temp positions through Pulse, I am delighted to have been offered a role as Temps Contoller here at Pulse. I am excited to learn all about the busy world of recruitment in such a lovely environment alongside the wonderful people that have been keeping me busy in some amazing Media Agencies over the past six months!

Filling in as Ella’s replacement, I hope to live up to her amazing reputation as temp controller! (Hard act to follow, I know!) Since having joined, I have felt nothing but welcomed by everyone here at Pulse and I promise to fulfil the role to the best of my ability. Ella's farewell...

After 2 amazing years, I am very sad to say that today is my last day at Pulse.

I will be starting a new adventure travelling around South and Central America for the next 6 months and while I am so excited for the next chapter, I’m sad to be leaving the life long friends I’ve made here.

I started at Pulse the summer I graduated from University and was extremely nervous for my first job in an office. For some people they will see their colleagues more than their family and friends so the importance of getting along is pivotal - especially in an ever changing market like recruitment! I can honestly say that over two years I have no complaints, whether it was explaining something to me for the 20th time or buying me a beer on a Friday lunch, the team have always made me feel so at home.

I step into this next chapter with a heavy heart as I won’t see the Pulse faces every day, however I’m doing it having made friends for life. This is my thank you to Pulse - a team that have been an absolute dream to work with, a team that made me laugh every day and a company I couldn’t recommend enough times to do them justice. I’ll be running straight back to you in March for help with my job search!

General ad hoc duties supporting the Perm and Temp Consultants
